1st Rouse Hill Scouts Group
Rouse Hill Community Centre, 39-41 Clower Avenue,
Rouse Hill, NSW, 2155

Equipment needs for 1st Rouse Hill Scouts -

1st Rouse Hill Scout Group was set-up mid last year as a non-profit organisation which is a part of Scouts NSW. The group consists of some very enthusiastic parent-committee volunteers seeking to provide the children of Rouse Hill and other local suburbs with a safe place to have fun, experience adventure, develop team working/leadership skills, help the local community, care for the environment and be a positive influence in the community. Being a member of Scouts provides young Aussies aged 5 to 25 with fun and challenging opportunities to grow through adventure. Today’s Scouts can take part in an extraordinary variety of outdoor activities, from ‘traditional Scouting skills’ such as camping and bush craft, through to more extreme challenges such as abseiling, overnight hiking, rafting, canoeing, canyoning, snow activities, rock climbing, sailing and even flying!

Scouts also have the opportunity to become involved in performing arts, leadership development, community service, amateur radio operation, environmental projects, large-scale Australian events such as Cuborees, Jamborees and Ventures, international events, and service projects in developing countries.
