Meet the ATO’s requirements

To provide a tax-deductible scholarship, there are a number of requirements set out by the Australian Taxation Office that must be met. Our team ensures that all scholarships meet these requirements, allowing you to focus on the joy of giving.

Fund Spotlight: Graduate Women Victoria

Graduate Women Victoria (GWV) is a registered charity which offers scholarships to female students enrolled in universities in Victoria who have overcome or are overcoming disadvantage in the pursuit of their studies. GWV established its tax-deductible scholarship fund with us to assist the delivery of its annual program of scholarships.

A Scholarship Fund can either be established as a Named Fund or a Private Foundation (private ancillary fund). If you establish your scholarship fund as a Named Fund, we manage and invest your funds in line with our commitment to 100% responsible investing. If you establish your Scholarship Fund as a Private Foundation, you manage your investments independently.
