I’M PASSIONATE ABOUT…

“I’m passionate about inspiring social change and creating a positive difference in society in whatever way I can. Helping donors on their giving journeys is a privilege and honour that allows me to live and breathe this passion as, collectively, we have the power to create a positive and inclusive society.”

MY EXPERIENCE

“Prior to joining Australian Communities Foundation, I worked with a small not-for-profit organisation, Hands on Health Australia, where I coupled my background in international development and myotherapy to coordinate student volunteers and manage a community health training project in rural India. I also ran my own small business in Melbourne that aimed to foster creativity and inspire creative communities. In addition, my experience as a grantseeker has given me a unique insight into the complexity and nuance of power dynamics at play in philanthropy. This insight drives the way I communicate with organisations in order to analyse projects and recommend these to donors.”

MY FAVOURITE STORY

“The Impact Fund shows the power of collective giving at its best. To have donors recognise potential human rights abuses and come together to mobilise funding in under 48 hours is a testament to our giving community!”
